I am 24 years old and have been dealing with gastroparesis for 5 years. I currently work at an Adult Level 1 Trauma Center on a Special Care Unit as a Registered Nurse. I love my job and have been there for going on 3 years.
I've been dealing with what has been called "gastroparesis" - which is partial paralysis of the stomach. I have been dealing with this off and on for about 5 years. Lately, it has been getting worse and doctors are realizing that something has to be done soon. They are having trouble figuring out why I have it, therefore they are having trouble treating it. They are just trying to control the symptoms and try and keep me healthy. I am being referred to Temple hospital which specializes in gastroparesis and have specialized tests and treatments for this condition.
Going to try and keep this blog as daily journal. This blog will range from personal issues, photography, and anything else I feel like posting. Hope you enjoy!!!
